About the Role
Cyberverse Foundation is implementing a School Hygiene Program aimed at strengthening Cybersecurity Awareness and Digital Safety Education in Government Schools.
As a Teaching in Cybersecure Aware Intern, you will work directly with students to promote safe, responsible, and ethical use of digital technologies.
This role is ideal for individuals passionate about cyber awareness, education, and community outreach.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct cybersecurity awareness and digital safety sessions for Government School students
- Explain common cyber threats such as phishing, cyber fraud, malware, ransomware, identity theft, and cyberbullying
- Promote cyber hygiene practices including password safety, email security, and responsible social media usage
- Support development of awareness materials (presentations, posters, handouts)
- Share real-world cyber incident examples and preventive best practices
- Collect feedback and assist in basic reporting with geo-tagged data and photographs
- Stay updated on basic cybersecurity trends and emerging threats
Eligibility
Education:
- Diploma / UG / MBA students or recent graduates in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, Education, Social Work, or related fields
Experience:
- Freshers and students encouraged to apply
- Prior exposure to cybersecurity awareness or teaching is a plus
Skills Required
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity and digital safety
- Familiarity with phishing, cyber fraud and cyberbullying
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Ability to explain concepts in a simple, student-friendly manner
- Working knowledge of MS Office / Google Workspace
- Team-oriented with a responsible and professional attitude
Preferred
- Candidates willing to travel across multiple Government Schools
Stipend & Benefits
- Stipend: 8,000 10,000 per month
- Travel Allowance: As per project norms
