Company Description Mindshift Analytics is an industrial data science venture that partners with organizations operating large, complex worksites such as infrastructure construction projects, mineral extraction mines, aviation fuel farms, and geographically dispersed telecom sites.
Role Description This full-time Intern role is online/remote working.
- The intern will support data collection, cleaning, and basic analysis for industrial client projects, working closely with data scientists and consultants.
- Day-to-day tasks may include organizing datasets from remote sites, documenting processes, preparing simple reports or visual summaries, and assisting in testing analytics tools or dashboards.
- The intern will collaborate with the team to understand client requirements, contribute to problem-solving discussions, and help ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- The role offers exposure to real-world industrial data science applications and opportunities to learn about analytics, consulting, and service operations.
Internship duration: min. 3 months, upto 6 months. Immediate joining
Qualifications
- Foundational knowledge of data handling and analysis (e.g., spreadsheets, basic statistics, or introductory programming in Python/R).
- Interest in industrial operations, energy or infrastructure domains, and willingness to learn about fuel and power management challenges.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail when working with large or complex datasets.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document workflows and summarize findings for team members.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in engineering, data science, statistics, computer science, or a related field.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools or BI platforms (such as Excel charts, Power BI, or similar) is an advantage.
- Demonstrated curiosity, adaptability, and motivation to build skills in data science, analytics, and consulting.
