We are seeking a highly skilled Global IP Engineer to join our Core Transport – International Networks team within Vodafone Network Operations. Based in Pune, India, this role focuses on managing, troubleshooting, and optimising enterprise network infrastructure with a strong emphasis on Cisco ACI technology. The individual will act as a key escalation point for critical incidents, ensuring high availability and performance across complex multi-technology environments. This is a real-time operational role requiring deep expertise in routing, switching, data centre networks, and security technologie

• doProvide expert-level support and guidance to operations teams, ensuring timely resolution and knowledge transf
• er.Lead troubleshooting and resolution of high-severity network incidents involving MPLS, IPSEC, and V
• RF.Configure and maintain APIC controllers, Nexus 9000 switches, and spine-leaf topolo
• gy.Manage lifecycle activities including device upgrades, patches, and failover testi
• ng.Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and propose preventive measur
• es.Develop automation scripts using Python/Ansible for ACI operatio
• ns.Monitor ACI health, fabric utilisation, and proactively address anomalies using APIC dashboards, SNMP, and Sysl
• og.Maintain accurate documentation including network diagrams, configurations, and operational procedur
• es.Ensure compliance with security and operational standards and participate in change management process
• es.Interface with vendors for support and escalation of hardware/software issu

Who you

• areExtensive hands-on experience with Cisco routing and switching, including Nexus (7K/9K), Catalyst platforms, and
• VSS.Strong understanding of MPLS, VRF segmentation, IPSEC, BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP routing protoc
• ols.Proven expertise in Cisco ACI fabric and SDN conce
• pts.Familiarity with ACI automation tools (Python, Ansible) and REST API for operational ta
• sks.Good understanding of firewall policies, load balancers, and integration with
