Role Description The International Travel Consultant is a remote, contract role responsible for designing and coordinating international travel itineraries for leisure and corporate clients. Day-to-day activities include consulting with clients to understand their preferences and budget, recommending destinations and packages, and creating customized travel plans. The role involves handling reservations for flights, hotels, cruises, tours, and other services, as well as managing changes, cancellations, and special requests. The consultant will provide clear information on visa requirements, travel documentation, insurance options, and local regulations to ensure safe and smooth journeys. Ongoing responsibilities include delivering responsive customer service, maintaining accurate records in booking and CRM systems, and collaborating with internal teams and partners to optimize client experience and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Travel Consulting and Travel Arrangements skills to design tailored itineraries and coordinate end-to-end journeys.
• Candidates should possess Travel Management skills, including handling complex multi-country trips, corporate travel needs, and group travel logistics.
• Candidates should possess Customer Service and Reservations skills to manage bookings, respond to inquiries, and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Relevant experience with GDS or online booking platforms, international destinations, and visa/documentation processes is highly beneficial.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting are required.
• Prior experience in a travel agency, tour operator, or corporate travel environment, and professional certifications in travel or tourism are a plus.
