Work Mode: India-based role, working for the Australia market

Sydney Filmworks is a premium video production and creative content company focused on helping brands, businesses, events, and organisations tell stronger stories through film, video, and digital content.

We work with businesses that need corporate films, event coverage, brand videos, social media content, testimonials, and high-quality visual storytelling.

We are now building our Australia-focused sales and marketing operations from India and are looking for a smart, confident, English-speaking sales and marketing professional based in Kochi.

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated International Sales & Marketing Executive who can support Sydney Filmworks growth in the Australian market.

The person will be responsible for researching potential clients, reaching out through email and LinkedIn, managing leads, setting up meetings, following up professionally, and supporting marketing activities for the company.

This role is ideal for someone who has previous exposure to international markets such as Australia, Europe, the UK, UAE, or the US, and is comfortable communicating with clients in strong written and spoken English.

Key Responsibilities

Research and identify potential clients in Australia across industries such as events, corporate brands, hospitality, real estate, healthcare, education, startups, and agencies.

Reach out to prospects through email, LinkedIn, calls, and other professional channels.

Create and manage lead lists, contact databases, and outreach trackers.

Write clear and professional email messages, LinkedIn messages, and follow-up communication.

Coordinate with the internal creative and production team to understand services, proposals, and client requirements.

Schedule meetings or discovery calls with potential clients.

Follow up with prospects and maintain regular communication until conversion or closure.

Support marketing activities including content planning, campaign ideas, social media coordination, and market research.

Study competitors, industry trends, and opportunities in the Australian video production and content market.

Maintain CRM or tracking sheets with daily updates on outreach, responses, and lead status.

Help build Sydney Filmworks presence and credibility in the Australian market.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone who:

Has experience in sales, marketing, client outreach, lead generation, or business development.

Has previously worked with international clients or international markets, preferably Australia, Europe, UK, US, or UAE.

Has excellent written and spoken English.

Can write professional emails without sounding robotic or overly casual.

Is confident in approaching new clients and starting conversations.

Understands LinkedIn, email outreach, basic CRM usage, and online research.

Is organised, consistent, and comfortable doing daily follow-ups.

Can work independently from India while supporting an international business.

Has an interest in media, video production, branding, advertising, events, or creative services.

Preferred Skills

Experience with B2B sales or service-based sales.

Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, HubSpot, Zoho, Google Sheets, or CRM tools.

Understanding of Australian business culture or international client communication.

Ability to research companies, decision-makers, events, and marketing teams.

Basic understanding of digital marketing, content marketing, or social media marketing.

Prior experience in creative agency, media company, video production, advertising, IT services, SaaS, or consulting sales would be a plus.
