We are a 39-year-old Chennai-based manufacturer of ASME-certified pressure vessels, heat exchangers, filters, QOCs, and modular process skids. We export to the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and the Americas. We are now building our international sales capability with dedicated focus on CIS markets (Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan) and South America (Colombia, Peru).
We are looking for a competent candidate who can open these markets. Not a proposal writer. Not a tender person. A technical hunter.
What you will do
- Generate enquiries from EPC contractors and operators in CIS and South American markets through direct outbound outreach
- Convert inbound SEO enquiries from international buyers — with speed and technical credibility
- Hold credible technical conversations with client engineers on process conditions, materials, and applicable codes (ASME, PED)
- Appoint and coordinate with sales agents in target geographies
- Maintain a clean pipeline in Zoho CRM — every enquiry and interaction logged without prompting
- Travel internationally approximately 6–8 weeks per year
What we need
- Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering — non-negotiable
- 7–10 years in technical sales or BD of static process equipment — pressure vessels, heat exchangers, filters, or skids
- Demonstrated outbound sales track record — new account opening, not account maintenance
- Real international exposure — even limited, it must be verifiable
- Chennai-based — this role does not work remotely
Strong advantage
- Prior sales experience in CIS countries or South America
- Familiarity with ASME, PED, or TRCU certification requirements
- Russian language capability — even basic working proficiency
- Exposure to gas processing, petrochemical, or fertilizer project environments
