Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous International Payroll Processing Analyst to manage pre- and post-payroll activities, including report preparation and issue resolution. You will be responsible for running payroll cycles in Workday, validating error reports, and researching discrepancies. This role requires extensive knowledge of payroll functions, related laws, and exceptional attention to detail, along with strong communication and analytical skills.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Manage pre-Payroll and post-payroll activities such as preparing reports and check tracking.
  • Analyze payroll issues thoroughly and provide effective resolutions.
  • Responsible for running off-cycle / on-cycle payroll in Workday, including validation of error reports and ensuring pay calculation is complete.
  • Conduct research on mismatches and discrepancies related to client data.
  • Handle email queries and escalations professionally and promptly.
  • Process terminations, including deactivating the accounts of inactive retirees.
  • Manage separations and final pay processes for employees.
  • Reports:
  • Process all HR related invoices and submit them for payment.
  • Produce monthly OT (Overtime) and Leave reports.
  • Enter and verify all vacation and flex days.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly vacation metrics.

Required Skills:

  • Extensive knowledge of the payroll function, including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes.
  • Current knowledge of payroll procedures and related laws.
  • A keen eye for detail and strong accuracy.
  • An analytical mind and good math skills.
  • Outstanding communication skills (written and oral).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficient with payroll software like ADP & Workday.
  • Experience working on Canadian payroll is an added advantage.

QUALIFICATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field.
