Role Overview:
As an International Math Educator, you will deliver engaging, interactive online math sessions to students aged 518 years. Your teaching will focus on building strong conceptual understanding, problem-solving skills, and real-world application of mathematics from foundational numeracy to advanced topics.
You will design lessons that make math fun, relatable, and inspiring, adapting your teaching style to suit different age groups and learning patterns. This role goes beyond teaching numbers it's about sparking curiosity, nurturing logical thinking, and transforming math into a journey of discovery, creativity, and confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, interactive online math sessions to students globally.
- Teach mathematical concepts across levels from arithmetic, algebra, and geometry to data handling, trigonometry, calculus, and applied mathematics.
- Use real-life examples, puzzles, games, and projects to help students connect math with everyday experiences.
- Design and implement curriculum-aligned lesson plans and assessments to track learning outcomes.
- Adapt teaching methodologies to suit different age groups (518 years) and individual learning styles.
- Incorporate storytelling, visual aids, and problem-based learning to simplify complex concepts.
- Track student progress, provide personalized feedback, and design strategies for improvement.
- Collaborate with curriculum designers, academic mentors, and parents to ensure holistic learning.
- Create a positive, engaging, and motivating classroom experience that inspires confidence and love for math.
Qualifications & Skills:
- US Accent Certified ability to communicate in a clear, neutral, and engaging US accent.
- 3+ years of teaching experience in Mathematics (school or college level).
- Strong command over mathematical concepts and pedagogy for various grades.
- Expertise in at least 3 of the following domains: Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, Statistics, Trigonometry, Calculus, Applied Mathematics, Problem Solving & Logical Reasoning.
- Familiarity with digital teaching tools and platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, GeoGebra, Desmos, Kahoot, etc.).
- Deep understanding of child and adolescent learning psychology.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and engagement skills.
- Passionate about making mathematics interactive, intuitive, and enjoyable for young learners.
