We are seeking an experienced International/Export Sales Manager to join our dynamic team at our 50-year-old FMCG company based in Kochi, India. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving international sales and expanding market reach.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement international sales strategies to achieve company targets.
- Identify and explore new markets and customer segments for export opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with international distributors and clients.
- Conduct market research to understand trends, competitors, and customer needs in different regions.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials tailored for international markets.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with international partners.
- Monitor and report on sales performance and market trends.
- Ensure compliance with export regulations and documentation requirements.
Skills and Qualifications
- 5-15 years of experience in international sales or export management, preferably in the FMCG sector.
- Strong understanding of international trade regulations and logistics.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in foreign languages is a plus.
- Ability to analyze market trends and develop strategic plans.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
