Role Overview

We are looking for a confident and results-driven Cold Caller / Business Development Executive to support our global outreach efforts. The primary responsibility will be to engage with prospective clients, initiate conversations, and schedule qualified meetings for the Sales Head.

This role requires strong communication skills, persistence, and a basic understanding of software/IT services.

Experience: 1–4 years

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound cold calls to prospective clients across international markets (UK, US, Africa, Australia)
  • Introduce Optbyte's services and generate interest among decision-makers
  • Qualify leads and identify potential business opportunities
  • Schedule meetings/demos for the Sales Head
  • Maintain accurate records of calls, conversations, and outcomes
  • Follow up with prospects via calls and emails
  • Meet daily/weekly call and meeting-setting targets

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written)
  • Neutral or clear accent preferred for international calling
  • Basic understanding of IT/software services (web, app, or enterprise solutions)
  • Strong persuasion and negotiation skills
  • Ability to handle objections and rejections professionally
  • Self-motivated with a target-driven mindset

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in cold calling / tele-sales / lead generation
  • Experience working with international clients
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales tracking systems

Working Hours

  • Flexible shift timings based on target geography (UK / US / Australia / Africa)
  • Will require working in evening/night shifts depending on territory.
