About the Company:

We are a leading drone light show company specializing in large-scale aerial storytelling using synchronized drone fleets. Our shows are used for global events, brand launches, national celebrations, tourism campaigns, and entertainment spectacles. As we expand into international markets, we are looking for motivated interns to support our global business development efforts.

Role Overview:

The International Business Development Intern will support the expansion of our drone light show services across global markets. The role involves market research, database creation, outreach to potential clients, and assisting in developing market entry and go-to-market strategies for different regions. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates interested in international business, strategy, and emerging technologies in the events and entertainment industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Research & Intelligence:

Conduct detailed research on international markets for drone light shows.

Identify industry trends, regulatory environments, and growth opportunities.

Analyse competitor offerings, pricing models, and regional positioning.

Assist in building a 5-year expansion strategy for the international segment.

Database Creation:

-Build and maintain structured databases of:

Competitors in the drone show industry

Event management agencies

Government tourism boards and public bodies

Large corporates and global brands

Festivals, sporting events, and international expos

Outreach & Lead Generation:

Conduct cold outreach via email, LinkedIn, and calls to potential clients and partners.

Identify and connect with decision-makers in event agencies, corporates, and government bodies.

Maintain CRM records of leads, conversations, and follow-ups.

Strategy Development:

Assist in creating Go-To-Market strategies for target regions.

Support the development of marketing strategies for international markets.

Identify potential partnerships and collaboration opportunities.

Reporting & Insights:

Prepare structured reports, presentations, and market insights.

Track outreach performance and lead generation metrics.

Present findings and recommendations to the leadership team.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, International Relations, Marketing, or similar fields.

Strong research and analytical skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Comfortable with cold outreach and professional communication.

Proficiency in Google Sheets / Excel / CRM tools.

Ability to work independently and handle ambiguous problem statements.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

Experience in market research or business development.

Familiarity with international markets or global events industry.

Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, or similar lead generation tools.

Interest in technology, entertainment, or event production industries.
