Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and student-centric International Academic Counsellor to join our Mumbai team. The selected candidate will play a key role in guiding students through their international education journey by offering personalized academic and career counseling. This role demands strong communication skills, a consultative approach, and the ability to build trust with students, parents, and global educational institutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions to understand students academic profiles, career aspirations, and study-abroad goals.
  • Provide end-to-end guidance on international education options, including course selection, universities, and career outcomes.
  • Assist students in planning structured academic and professional pathways aligned with global opportunities.
  • Coordinate and communicate with overseas universities, colleges, and partner institutions.
  • Support students throughout the decision-making process to ensure informed and confident choices.
  • Maintain accurate student records, follow-ups, and documentation.
  • Build strong communication bridges between students, parents, and international institutions.
  • Stay updated on global education trends, admission requirements, and international education processes.
Required Skills & Competencies
  • Strong expertise in student counseling, academic advising, and career counseling.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple student portfolios efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.
  • Collaborative, empathetic, and student-first mindset.
Eligibility & Experience

Candidates from the following backgrounds are encouraged to apply:

  • Minimum 2 years of Study Abroad Counseling experience (preferred).
  • OR Minimum 2 years of experience in International Sales or International BPO, with strong client consultation and global client-handling exposure.
  • Prior study abroad counseling experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with international markets, overseas admissions, or global customers will be an added advantage.
Educational Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Any Field
  • Master's degree is preferred but not mandatory.
