Qualifications And Skills
- MD or DNB in Internal Medicine
- Valid medical license to practice
- Junior: 1 to 3 years of experience in internal medicine
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in medical software and electronic health records
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with advancements in internal medicine
Roles And Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and medical histories of patients
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood tests, X-rays, and MRIs
- Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions, including chronic illnesses and acute injuries
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, including medications, lifestyle modifications, and referrals to specialists
- Provide patient education regarding medical conditions, treatments, and preventive care
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses, pharmacists, and specialists, to optimize patient care
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of treatment protocols and guidelines
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all patient encounters and treatment plans
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in internal medicine and incorporate evidence-based practices into clinical decision-making
