Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Internal Auditor position located in Mumbai. The Internal Auditor will be responsible for evaluating and improving the effectiveness of financial, operational, compliance, and information systems audits. Daily tasks include assessing risk, performing internal audits, preparing detailed reports, and providing recommendations for process improvements. Collaboration with various departments to ensure sound internal controls and compliance with regulations will also be key responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of internal auditing principles, risk assessment techniques, and compliance frameworks
• Proficiency in accounting, financial analysis, and reporting practices
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working collaboratively across teams
• Proficiency in using audit and accounting software tools is beneficial
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, or CA preferred
• Prior experience in auditing or a similar role is advantageous
