Job Title: Audit Manager

Location: Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh

Qualification: Chartered Accountant

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant to join our team as an Audit Manager. The ideal candidate will have experience in conducting various types of audits for the Government sector, in line with applicable standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute Internal / statutory audits in compliance with applicable Accounting Standards, Standards on Auditing and Regulations (Ind AS, PWD Manual, GFR Rules, Procurement Rules, GEM, Companies Act, NMAM etc.)
• Conduct risk assessments and test internal financial controls over financial reporting
• Assist in finalizing financial statements with related notes and disclosures
• Assist in preparation of audit reports and certificates
• Ensure timely closure of audits and related documentation requirements in line with Standards on Auditing
• Monitor and supervise the work of respective audit executives assigned

Requirements:

• Chartered Accountant with between 13 years of post-qualification experience in assurance services.
• Experience in audit assignments for the Government Sector, Infrastructure sector entities.
• Willingness to travel for client assignments

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards, Standards on Auditing, Companies Act, GFR Rules, GEM, other regulations, tax laws and auditing practices, Strong written and verbal communication
• Proficiency in MS Office and audit tools
