Role Description This is a full-time remote role for an Internal Auditor at Asirvad Micro Finance Limited. The Internal Auditor will plan and execute internal audits across financial and operational processes, with a particular focus on gold loan products and related controls. Daily responsibilities include reviewing documentation and transactions, evaluating internal controls, identifying process gaps, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. The role involves preparing clear, concise audit reports, presenting findings to management, and recommending practical corrective actions. The Internal Auditor will also follow up on the implementation of agreed action plans, support risk assessment activities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance overall governance and risk management.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial and operational data to identify trends, anomalies, and control weaknesses.
- Proficiency in conducting financial audits and understanding of core finance principles relevant to NBFCs and lending operations.
- Experience in preparing structured, accurate audit reports that clearly communicate findings, risks, and recommendations.
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to engage with stakeholders at different levels and communicate complex issues clearly and professionally.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CIA, CA, CMA) are an advantage.
- Familiarity with internal control frameworks, risk management practices, and regulatory requirements applicable to financial institutions.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple priorities.
