Internal Audit - Team Head role - Mumbai

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute audit calendar and assignments: allocate audits based on expertise and available resources, monitor scope and quality, risk grading, opinion formation, audit finalization, discussions, and closure, including site visits.
• Lead audits of departments with centralized/regional operations, thematic audits, management audits, spot audits, and user acceptance tests.
• Conduct audits in line with regulatory guidelines, internal policies, and standard audit procedures.
• Ensure timely, accurate, and concise documentation of audit reports highlighting exceptions.
• Critically review processes and procedures during audits and recommend improvements to enhance controls and simplify workflows.
• Support RBI inspections, RBS requirements, ACB reporting, and investigations; act as trainer for Training Committee.
• Track and identify revenue leakage and suggest measures to prevent it.
• Ensure qualitative and effective performance across all audits undertaken.
• Assign risk ratings to audit observations and arrive at audit ratings for assignments.
• Recommend process changes as identified during audits.
• Track audit observations, review responses, update audit databases, and ensure closure of audit files.
• Lead, guide, and groom team members for performance and professional development.
