About Internal Audit

Internal Audit function of the Bank, operates independently under the supervision of the Audit Committee of the Board and is responsible for providing an independent view to the Board of Directors and Senior Management on the quality and efficacy of the internal controls, risk management systems, governance systems and processes in place on an on-going basis. This is provided to primarily ensure that the business and support functions are in compliance with both internal and regulatory guidelines.

About the Role

The Role encompasses Proactively managing and convening audit committee meetings and Special Committee of the Board for Monitoring Large Value Frauds. They must Follow up with the Departments for obtaining responses to committee directives and must Engage and communicate with the Senior Management and other control functions such as Risk, Compliance, etc.

Key Responsibilities

.Managing Committee Meetings (Audit Committee / Special Committee of the Board for Monitoring Large Value Frauds) Ensure timeliness, accuracy of data and quality of the notes placed to the Committee.

.Ensuring adherence to the Calendar of Reviews and other regulatory guidelines.

.Managing the Action Taken Report: Follow up on closure of Action Taken Report with various stakeholders. Preparing and ensuring quality of closures of Action Taken Report.

.Updating Skill sets and knowledge by attending trainings, pursuing qualifications / Sharing knowledge with team members and colleagues on an ongoing basis.


Qualifications

.Graduate/Post-graduate / MBA

Role Proficiencies:

.Good communication (both verbal & written) and inter-personal skills
.Strong Knowledge of Audit and Reporting Practices
.Strong Excel and database manipulation skills, financial and statistical analysis skills)
.Ability to manage risk and uncertainty for self and team within a dynamic priority-setting environment
.Ability to prioritize and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
.Ability to work as a part of team and contribute towards team goals
.Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
