Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct risk assessments across all manufacturing operations, including production, supply chain, utilities, and projects.
- Identify operational, financial, regulatory, safety, and strategic risks.
- Develop risk registers and risk scoring systems to prioritize mitigation efforts.
- Design and implement risk mitigation strategies, internal controls, and contingency plans.
- Collaborate with operations, engineering, quality, and finance teams to implement preventive measures.
- Monitor effectiveness of mitigation plans and update strategies as needed.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory, legal, and industry standards.
- Prepare risk reports, dashboards, and KPIs for senior management and stakeholders. Support internal and external audits related to risk management and control effectiveness.
- Conduct risk awareness sessions for employees and management.
- Promote a risk-conscious culture throughout the organization.
- Benchmark risk management practices against industry best practices.
- Drive process improvements, cost reduction, and safety initiatives based on risk insights.
Key Internal Interfaces:
- Operations / Production: Identify operational risks, monitor process compliance, and implement mitigation measures.
- Quality / EHS / Safety Teams: Coordinate on safety, regulatory compliance, and quality related risks.
- Finance / Accounts: Assess financial risks, monitor budgets, and control cost-related exposures.
Key External Interfaces:
Knowledge of industry standards and safety systems
Qualification:
Chartered Accountant
Experience:
- 4+10 years experience in risk management, internal audit, compliance, or operational risk roles, preferably in manufacturing.
- Professional certifications such as IRM, FRM, or equivalent are a plus.
