Intern Video Editor

Film Mechanic Studio, based in Guwahati, Assam, is a government-registered post-production studio (MSME, UDYAM-AS-03-0026692) specializing in cinematic editing and DaVinci Resolve color grading. Our team collaborates with independent filmmakers, production houses, NGOs, and businesses across India and globally. Led by FTII and NYFA-trained editor Jyotirmoy Mazumdar, with experience on projects for platforms like Netflix, ZEE5, and Apple TV, we deliver high-quality post-production with narrative precision and visual excellence. Storytelling is at the core of our work, whether for feature films, documentaries, branded content, or social impact films.

This is an internship role for a Video Editor, based on-site at our studio in Guwahati. The Intern Video Editor will assist in video editing, video color grading, and creating motion graphics. Responsibilities include supporting video production, enhancing visual quality, collaborating on creative projects, and ensuring alignment with brand and storytelling goals.

• Proficiency in Video Production and Video Editing
• Knowledge of Video Color Grading and tools like DaVinci Resolve
• Basic skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics creation
• Attention to detail, creativity, and a passion for storytelling
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Familiarity with post-production workflows; experience in cinematic editing is a plus
