Job Responsibilities
About the Role
- As a Transaction Banking Strategy Intern, you will support the respective Transaction Banking teams on high-priority initiatives such as business / product growth and expansion strategy. You will work with cross-functional partners to turn ambiguous questions into structured analyses and clear recommendations for leadership.
What You Will Learn
Interns will gain exposure to:
- Transaction Banking knowledge including Cash Management, Trade Finance and FX.
- Digital banking platforms and client connectivity.
- API banking and host-to-host integration.
- Treasury and working capital management.
- Emerging trends including AI, Internet of Things and Digital Assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Structure ambiguous business problems into clear hypotheses, workplans, and analyses.
- Conduct market and industry research on Transaction Banking and treasury trends.
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to test hypotheses.
- Build and maintain analytical models.
- Analyze external / internal data to identify performance drivers, trends, and opportunities.
- Synthesize findings into concise insights and presentations.
- Build slides and written deliverables with clear storyline and supporting evidence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (Planning, Product, Product Development, Sales, Implementation Operations, Technology) to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and align on recommendations.

- Produces accurate, decision / direction -relevant analyses with transparent assumptions.
- Communicates insights clearly (so leadership can decide quickly).
- Proactively identifies key questions, risks, and next steps.

Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics or related field.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data; advanced excel (Macro) required (SQL / Python a plus).
- Clear, structured communication and presentation (verbal, writing and PowerPoint story lining).
- Ability to execute in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in strategy, corporate development, or business operations.
- Curiosity about banking and financial technology.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Interest in digital innovation and emerging technologies.
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Prior internship or project experience in strategy and finance.
- Experience with Tableau / Power BI and statistics.
- Good in data and analytics.
- Familiarity with common strategy and market frameworks (market sizing, segmentation, competitive analysis, blockchain / distributed ledger technology, Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence (AI) / Agentic AI).
