Progress Software's is looking for aTechnical Product Marketing Internto play a role in telling our story to the technical practitioner audience.

TheTechnical Product Marketing Internis the technical candidate for the Product team and is responsible for technical writing, demo development, practitioner-focused campaigns, presentations, and more across the entireInfra BUportfolio. You will work to understand the target audience and their pain points, then link Progress's unique value proposition and competitive differentiators to position us for market growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive efforts to market to technical practitioners by deeply understanding their needs and use casesand trying to correlate them to InfraBU products and technology.
  • Collaborate with the Product management team, understand the effects and give your input concerning market values.
  • Create technical product technical materials, including videos, white papers, presentations, web content, and more.
  • Work with customers and partners to understand their needs and illustrate product capabilities and value.
  • Build and maintain a strong collaborative partnership with product management, engineering, sales, marketing, and other functions across the business.
  • Conduct Internal training sessions to help field teams understand the technology and how to position it effectively with prospects and customers.

Qualification:

  • Strong communication, listening, presentation, and meeting facilitation skills to interact with technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with DevOps, configuration management and compliance standards.
  • Ability to gracefully handle and address customer questions and issues on the fly and to be innovative in solving customer challenges.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to drive business independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate easy-to-understand technical content that produces results.
