Job Summary:
The Soil Testing Intern will be responsible for learning and performing complete soil testing of field-collected samples using a soil testing machine. The role also involves accurate data entry, analysis, and timely sharing of reports with relevant stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn and perform end-to-end soil testing on field-collected samples using the designated soil testing machine.
- Handle, label, and process soil samples as per standard protocols.
- Accurately record test results and maintain all related data in Excel.
- Prepare and share soil testing reports with concerned team members within defined timelines.
- Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of soil testing equipment.
- Follow safety, quality, and operational guidelines during testing.
- Coordinate with field and internal teams for sample tracking and reporting.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of soil science, agriculture, or related fields (preferred).
- Proficiency in MS Excel for data entry and record maintenance.
- Willingness to learn soil testing procedures and operate testing equipment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Students or recent graduates in Agriculture, Soil Science, Environmental Science, or related disciplines.
- Ability to work with field samples and laboratory equipment.
- Organized, responsible, and deadline-oriented.
Duration of Internship : 3 Months
