Kaleris is a private equity-backed software firm focused on supply chain optimization, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. We are a global leader in the supply chain execution market, focused on accelerating the transformation of digital supply chain for industrial and finished goods shippers and carriers by combining best-in-class solutions for challenges tied to yard management, shipment visibility, and asset management, across rail, truck, and multi-mode transportation.

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Specialist and Content Writer Intern to join our marketing team. This role is responsible for crafting compelling written content across multiple platforms and managing our social media presence to drive engagement, increase brand awareness, and support marketing goals.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research to support content development and ensure factual accuracy.
  • Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with overall marketing objectives.
  • Monitor social media channels for engagement opportunities, trends, and competitor activity.
  • Respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and brand-appropriate manner.
  • Track and analyze performance metrics (reach, engagement, conversions) and report insights regularly.
  • Create original, engaging, and GEO-optimized content for blogs, website pages, email campaigns, newsletters, case studies, and product descriptions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand products, services, and customer personas to tailor messaging appropriately.
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency in brand voice and tone.

Requirements

  • Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or related field of study.
  • Highly motivated individual, who accepts challenges, continually innovates, and learns
  • Good in analytical and logical reasoning
  • Strong written communication skills, ability to plan work, and report progress against plan
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a portfolio of published work.
  • Experience with social media scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Later).
  • Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) are a plus.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
