In the infrastructure and transportation sectors we have a rapidly expanding workload and an exciting portfolio of roads, rail, water and building development projects. As such we are seeking an Intern, Geotechnical Engineer to take a leading role in our strong geotechnical team.

We currently have an outstanding opportunity for Geotechnical Engineers, in our rapidly expanding team. An ideal opportunity for individuals looking to develop their international experience by working with a multidiscipline team of Geotechnical Engineers providing a comprehensive design service to our clients.

Your role

• Analytical skills to assess complex problems and deliver appropriate solutions.
• Design of modular and embedded retaining walls, slope stability analysis & pile group analysis.
• Conversant with geotechnical analysis software like PLAXIS 2D/3D, GEOSTUDIO SUITE, WALLAP or FREW, PDISP and REPUTE.
• Experience of soil structure interaction work and numerical analysis would be an advantage.
• Excellent written and spoken English within a business environment.

About you

The successful applicant will be employed as Intern Geotechnical Engineer with a proven technical and project management track record.

• Currently pursuing Master's in Soil Mechanics, Foundation Engineering, Ground Engineering, or Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical specialization, with strong academic performance.
• Ability to work independently with minimum support from seniors.
• Proven experience of acting as a geotechnical engineer in a fast-moving engineering consultancy environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and technical skills.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence to liaise with international clients.
• Excellent report writing skills with the ability to self-check and produce accurate work.
• A flair for innovation.
• A willingness to travel on short term assignments both within India and overseas.
