About the Internship:

Are you curious about events, research, business, urban development, and connecting with industry leaders

We are looking for a Research & Conference Outreach Intern to join the Municipalika 2026 team. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in research, stakeholder outreach, conference planning, and speaker engagement.

You will work closely with the Conference and Event teams and play an important role in identifying and connecting with the right people for Municipalika 2026.

What You Will Do:

• Research and identify potential conference speakers, government officials, industry experts, municipal leaders, delegates, and organisations.
• Support the Conference Team in identifying relevant speakers for different conference sessions.
• Research individuals and organisations and collect relevant contact details and background information.
• Assist with reaching out to potential speakers and participants through email and other communication channels.
• Follow up with contacts and track responses and engagement.
• Maintain and update Excel / Google Sheets databases and outreach trackers.
• Help prepare basic speaker profiles, research notes, and contact lists.
• Coordinate with the internal team and provide regular updates on outreach progress.
• Support the team with other research, coordination, and event-related activities.

• Good at searching for information online and identifying relevant people and organisations.
• Comfortable using Google, LinkedIn, Excel, and Google Sheets.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Organised, curious, proactive, and willing to learn.
• Comfortable communicating with new people and conducting follow-ups.
• Interest in smart cities, urban development, infrastructure, sustainability, mobility, municipalities, or public policy is a plus.
• Freshers are welcome to apply.
