About the Role
We are looking for a highly analytical and driven Procurement & Business Analyst Intern to support our Procurement team across supply chain, infrastructure, and technology sourcing. This role will involve working on data analysis, vendor management, RFQ/RFP processes, and procurement operations to drive efficiency and cost optimization.
You will get hands-on exposure to real-time procurement projects, vendor negotiations, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced quick commerce environment.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Vendor Management
- Assist in vendor identification, evaluation, and onboarding
- Support RFQ/RFP preparation, vendor outreach, and quotation collection
- Perform techno-commercial comparison of vendor proposals
- Help in contract preparation and negotiation support
- Track purchase orders (POs) and ensure timely delivery follow-ups
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Prepare price comparison sheets, cost analysis, and spend reports
- Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Maintain procurement dashboards and MIS reports
- Ensure data accuracy and documentation integrity
Stakeholder Coordination
- Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Finance, Engineering, Category)
- Understand purchase requirements and align procurement strategies
- Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders for smooth execution
Process & Operations Support
- Support procurement workflows and improve operational efficiency
- Assist in documentation, reporting, and audit readiness
- Participate in ongoing procurement and sourcing projects
Skills Required
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets
- Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills
- Basic understanding of procurement / supply chain processes
- Strong attention to detail and structured thinking
- Problem-solving mindset with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Background
- B.Tech in Electrical Engineering / Industrial Engineering
- MBA in Supply Chain / Operations / Business Analytics
- Interest in vendor management, sourcing, and commercial negotiations
- Exposure (or interest) in data analysis, procurement tools, or dashboards
