Intern Piano Teacher

Job Type: Remote Freelance Internship

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, engaging one-on-one virtual piano lessons to a diverse student body, ranging from absolute beginners to advanced levels.
• Adapt teaching methods to suit various individual needs, styles, and ages (children and adults).
• Competently teach all music genres and maintain strong proficiency in teaching music theory.
• Prepare students for recognized grade examinations, including those from ABRSM, RSL, or Trinity College.
• Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate student lessons during peak teaching times.

Availability

Candidates must be available during evenings and weekends.

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications

• Must possess, or be actively working toward, certifications from a recognized Western music examination board (Trinity College, ABRSM, or RSL).
• Highly proficient in both verbal and written English communication.
• Demonstrated flexibility and a capable approach to adapting lessons for various individuals and learning stages.
• Proficiency in teaching all levels and genres on the piano.
• Talented freshers who meet the certification requirements are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of music notation software and Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) is a plus.
