Job Description

1. Background

Centre for Responsible Business (CRB) is a think tank working to advance sustainable and responsible business practices through research, capacity building, multi-stakeholder engagement, and knowledge dissemination.

As part of its growing portfolio of programmes, events, trainings, and thought leadership initiatives, CRB seeks an enthusiastic and creative Intern/Young Professional to support the organisation's visual communications efforts through video production, graphic design, digital storytelling, and content creation.

The role offers an opportunity to work at the intersection of sustainability, communications, design, and multimedia storytelling while contributing to high-profile national and international initiatives.

2. Objective

To support CRB's communications team in developing engaging multimedia content, including video content, social media creatives, event materials, and digital communication assets that strengthen the visibility and impact of CRB's programmes and initiatives.

3. Scope of Work

A. Video Editing & Multimedia Production

  • Edit and produce video content for:
  • Conferences and events
  • Training programmes and workshops
  • Project documentation
  • Interviews and testimonials
  • Social media campaigns
  • Create short-form and long-form video content for digital platforms.
  • Add subtitles, transitions, animations, audio enhancements, and branding elements to video outputs.
  • Support development of highlight videos, promotional videos, and knowledge dissemination content.

B. Graphic Design & Visual Communications

  • Support the design team in developing:
  • Social media creatives
  • Event promotion materials
  • Digital banners and web graphics
  • Infographics
  • Presentation and report design elements
  • Event branding materials
  • Ensure all outputs align with CRB's brand guidelines and visual identity.
  • Adapt existing designs into platform-specific formats and dimensions.

C. Content Documentation & Storytelling

  • Support documentation of workshops, trainings, conferences, field visits, and stakeholder engagements.
  • Assist in identifying stories, impact narratives, and visual content opportunities.
  • Support scripting, storyboarding, and conceptualisation of multimedia content.
  • Translate technical sustainability concepts into engaging visual formats.

D. Social Media Content Support

  • Create digital assets for CRB's social media channels.
  • Adapt video and graphic content for LinkedIn, Instagram, X, YouTube, and other platforms.
  • Support execution of communication campaigns and content calendars.
  • Assist in developing multimedia content packages around key events and campaigns.

E. Content Management

  • Organise and maintain CRB's repository of multimedia assets.
  • Ensure proper archiving and categorisation of design files, photographs, and video footage.
  • Support development of a structured digital content library.

4. Deliverables

Indicative Deliverables Per Quarter

  • 8–12 short-form videos (reels, social media clips, promotional videos)
  • 6 long-form videos (event summaries, training videos, interviews, project documentation)
  • 20–30 social media creatives and digital graphics
  • Event-specific multimedia packages, including graphics and video outputs
  • Organised repository of multimedia assets and project files

Deliverables may vary depending on organisational priorities and project requirements.

5. Duration

Six (6) months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and organisational requirements.

The Intern/Young Professional will report to the Deputy Director – Marketing & Communication.

6. Qualifications & Skills

Education

Students in their final year or recent graduates in:

  • Mass Communication
  • Multimedia Design
  • Visual Communication
  • Graphic Design
  • Film & Media Studies
  • Journalism
  • Animation
  • Related disciplines

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in at least one video editing software:
  • Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Adobe AftereEffects
  • DaVinci Resolve
  • Final Cut Pro
  • Equivalent software
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools such as:
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • Canva
  • Figma (desirable)
  • Basic understanding of motion graphics and animation will be an advantage.

  • Strong visual storytelling skills
  • Creativity and attention to detail
  • Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Interest in sustainability and social impact issues
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

7. Location

New Delhi (Hybrid), with travel for events and programme activities as required.
