Role 1 - INTERN, Product Data Quality

Location: Bangalore | Business Group: Merchandising Operations

About The Team

The Data Quality team ensures accuracy, completeness, and integrity of product data across Lowe's assortment. The team partners with cross-functional groups to implement data quality rules, manage taxonomy, and drive improvements that enhance customer experience and online revenue.

Job Summary

The Analyst, Product Data Quality improves item data consistency and accuracy to drive online traffic and sales. This role works with Online Merchandising and Operations teams to monitor, audit, and enhance product data quality across all digital and Omni-channel platforms.

Responsibilities & Skills

  • Audit item data for accuracy, completeness, and quality; report metrics and resolve vendor/stakeholder queries.
  • Maintain product taxonomy and valid values to improve searchability and customer experience.
  • Ensure accurate product descriptions and troubleshoot quality issues on digital platforms.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and offshore teams for lifecycle management and process improvements.
  • Support automation and new processes to enhance item onboarding and data integrity.
  • Experience in Online/Retail Merchandising, Vendor Management, and Data Management.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret customer feedback for process improvement.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office; understanding of product classification and taxonomy.
  • Effective communication, decision-making, and process improvement capabilities.

Experience

  • 24 years in merchandising, data quality, or related roles.

Role 2 - INTERN, Vendor Onboarding & Item Data Management

Location: Bangalore | Experience: 25 years

Job Summary

The team supports onboarding new domestic vendors and managing item lifecycle for Lowe's. Responsibilities include setting up vendor profiles, drafting contracts, maintaining accurate item data, and ensuring readiness across all channels. The role also involves troubleshooting issues, auditing processes, and driving improvements in data quality and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities & Skills

  • Manage vendor onboarding, item setup, and lifecycle maintenance; ensure data accuracy and compliance with business rules.
  • Audit team outputs, report accuracy metrics, and resolve supplier issues as single-threaded owner.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (SSC-B & SSC-M) for smooth execution of onboarding and item processes.
  • Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend mitigation tactics.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, process documentation, and quality metrics for leadership visibility.
  • Train new team members and support process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in online retail, merchandising, and vendor management.

Role 3 - INTERN, MST OPS -Store Merch

Job Summary

The Merchandising Service Team (MST) plays a critical role in ensuring in-store priorities - maintaining store cleanliness, ensuring shelves are fully stocked, and delivering reliable service standards. The team drives excellence in merchandising execution by leveraging streamlined operating processes, effective capacity planning, reset audits, and well-maintained knowledge articles. Through these efforts, MST focuses on maximizing in-store productivity, improving execution quality, and enabling stores to operate efficiently while delivering a better experience for both customers and associates

Key Responsibilities & Skills

  • Retail Expertise: Apply deep understanding of retail operations to lead projects on labor capacity, execution validation, and operational optimization.

The Inventory Analyst manages inventory processes for a specific business area, driving improvements in KPIs such as in-stock % and weeks of supply. Responsibilities include monitoring order flow, addressing system exceptions, performing root cause analysis, and supporting process improvement initiatives to optimize inventory health and supply chain efficiency.

Responsibilities & Skills

  • Execute inventory management processes, monitor KPIs, and lead root cause analysis for out-of-stock issues.
  • Manage purchase orders, track pipeline reporting, and adapt allocations to maintain inventory health.
  • Address gaps in ordering processes, prevent stock shortages and overstocking, and align inventory with demand patterns.
  • Prepare KPI reports for weekly business reviews and recommend process improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and build strong process/system knowledge.
  • Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and sense of urgency.
  • Understanding of distribution networks and inventory management principles.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, and Excel for data analysis and visualization
