Role Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic Intern – Lead Generation to support our business growth initiatives. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy interacting with people, conducting market research, and identifying potential business opportunities.
As a Lead Generation Intern, you will be responsible for researching target companies, identifying decision-makers, reaching out through calls and emails, and generating qualified leads for our consulting and recruitment services.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead Generation
- Identify prospective clients through LinkedIn, databases, online research, and other lead sources.
- Build and maintain a database of target companies and decision-makers.
- Generate qualified sales leads for the Business Development team.
Cold Calling & Outreach
- Conduct outbound cold calls to HR leaders, Talent Acquisition Heads, Founders, and Business Leaders.
- Introduce Zealant Consulting Group's services and understand hiring requirements.
- Schedule meetings and discovery calls for senior team members.
Market Research
- Research industry trends, hiring activities, and target organizations.
- Track company growth, funding announcements, and expansion plans.
- Identify new market opportunities and potential client segments.
Email & LinkedIn Outreach
- Execute personalized email campaigns.
- Connect and engage with prospects through LinkedIn.
- Follow up with prospects to nurture relationships and generate interest.
CRM & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of leads, outreach activities, and responses.
- Update CRM systems and tracking sheets regularly.
- Share weekly progress reports and lead generation metrics.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Completed BBA, MBA, B.Com, Marketing, Business Management, or related fields.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable with cold calling and client interactions.
- Strong internet research and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn and Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
- Self-driven, confident, and result-oriented mindset.
Preferred Skills
- Previous internship experience in Sales, Business Development, Recruitment, or Marketing.
- Understanding of B2B sales processes.
- Knowledge of LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a plus.
