Role Description
This is a full-time internship role for an Interior Designer based on-site in Mumbai. The Intern Interior Designer will assist with space planning, creating design concepts, and preparing construction drawings under the guidance of senior designers. The role also involves researching and selecting FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) and assisting in all phases of the design process, including presentation preparation, client meetings, and site supervision support. The ideal candidate is passionate about design, highly organized, and eager to learn.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Space Planning and Interior Design principles with an eye for functionality and aesthetics.
- Basic knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings is required.
- Ability to research, select, and propose FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) options aligned with design concepts.
- Strong communication, organization, and presentation skills are essential.
- Familiarity with design and visualization software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite is beneficial.
- Enrollment in or recent graduation from a degree program in Interior Design, Architecture, or related fields is preferred.
- Enthusiasm for creativity, collaboration, and learning in a dynamic team environment.
