Job Title: Intern Demand & Inventory Planning
Tenure: 4 months
Location: Navratna Corporate Park, Ahmedabad
Job Summary
The Demand & Inventory Planning Intern will support the planning team in managing inventory levels and analyzing demand trends. This role will involve assisting with data analysis, preparing reports, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth inventory planning and stock availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring inventory levels and maintaining accurate stock records.
- Support the team in analyzing demand trends and preparing basic demand forecasts.
- Help generate and maintain inventory reports to track stock movement and availability.
- Work with internal teams such as procurement and sales to collect and organize relevant data.
- Use Excel functions like VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and basic formulas to analyze data and prepare reports.
- Assist in preparing weekly or monthly inventory summaries for the planning team.
- Support ongoing process improvement initiatives within the demand and inventory planning function.
Skill Requirements
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with different teams.
- Excel Proficiency: Basic knowledge of Excel, including formulas such as VLOOKUP and SUMIF.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to work with data and identify basic trends.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy while handling data and reports.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of inventory or supply chain concepts is a plus.
- Willingness to learn, strong attention to detail, and ability to work in a team environment.
