Role Overview
Nuvama Group is seeking a Management Trainee for its Secretarial Team. The trainee will undergo a structured 21-month training program designed to provide comprehensive exposure to corporate secretarial functions across various group entities, including Debt Listed Companies, NBFCs, and AMC businesses.
The role offers an opportunity to gain practical experience in corporate governance, regulatory compliance, board processes, and other company secretarial activities within a diversified financial services group.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in compliance and secretarial activities for:
- Debt Listed Companies
- Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs)
- Asset Management Companies (AMCs)
- Supporting the preparation and filing of statutory returns, forms, and disclosures with regulatory authorities.
- Assisting in organizing Board Meetings, Committee Meetings, and Annual General Meetings.
- Drafting meeting agendas, notices, minutes, and resolutions.
- Maintaining statutory registers, records, and secretarial documentation.
- Coordinating with internal departments and external stakeholders on compliance-related matters.
- Monitoring regulatory updates and assisting in implementation of applicable compliance requirements.
- Supporting due diligence, audit, and governance-related activities.
- Handling other corporate secretarial and compliance assignments as required.
Duration: 21 Months
Eligibility Criteria
- Qualified Company Secretary (CS) candidates
- Strong understanding of corporate laws, SEBI regulations, Companies Act, and allied regulations will be preferred.
- Good communication, drafting, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
