Intern - Cell & Battery Testing Engineer

Role Description The Intern – Cell & Battery Testing Engineer will support the testing and validation of battery cells, modules, and packs in an on-site lab environment in Bengaluru. This internship role involves preparing and executing test plans, setting up test equipment, running test cycles, and documenting test results in a clear, structured manner. The intern will assist in functional testing of batteries, monitoring performance parameters, identifying anomalies, and reporting findings to senior engineers. Daily responsibilities include maintaining test logs, ensuring adherence to safety procedures, contributing to test case development, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve testing processes. The role provides hands-on exposure to battery test engineering and requires a commitment to learning, accuracy, and safe lab practices.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Battery Test Engineering and Testing, with an interest in battery systems and energy storage technologies.
• Candidates should possess skills in Test Execution and working with Test Cases, including documenting procedures and results accurately.
• Candidates should possess skills in Functional Testing, especially in validating performance and safety aspects of hardware systems.
• Basic understanding of electrochemistry, battery operation, or electrical engineering principles is beneficial.
• Familiarity with lab equipment, data acquisition tools, and safety protocols in an engineering lab is an advantage.
• Pursuing a degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Energy Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• Ability to follow structured procedures, pay attention to detail, and work collaboratively with engineering and operations teams.
• Good written and verbal communication skills for reporting test findings and participating in technical discussions.
