About The Role
As a
Category Intern, you will get a front-row seat to how a modern retail business runs — from curating assortments and analyzing sales to understanding consumer behavior and working closely with brands. This is a hands-on learning role for someone who loves data, design thinking, and the chaos of retail.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Category Manager in daily operations, data analysis, and assortment planning.
- Track and analyze sales performance, inventory, and sell-through rates across categories.
- Support in brand onboarding, product listings, and SKU management.
- Coordinate with Visual Merchandising, Marketing, and Store Teams for product launches and activations.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking and trend research to identify assortment and pricing opportunities.
- Help prepare reports, decks, and dashboards for internal reviews.
- Support in store walk-throughs, product feedback capture, and customer insights.
What We're Looking For
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Retail Management, Fashion Management, or related fields.
- Strong in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and comfortable working with data.
- Curious, analytical, and highly organized.
- A team player with strong communication skills and a love for retail.
- Bonus if you're a shopper at heart who follows trends, brands, and pop culture closely.
