What You'll Do

As a Knowledge Intern role within BCG's CFS Practice Area, you will be required to support the Knowledge Team with various research related activities, such as:


. Gathering, filtering and organizing data across data sources
. Supporting content development efforts (market landscapes, company profiles, database updates, etc.)
. Creating & managing topic materials and organizing content

We are seeking a strong candidate who can support our Strategy Knowledge Team (KT). This team supports consultants with Strategy topics including portfolio strategy, corporate strategy, growth strategy and Innovation by providing analysis to drive insight into specific client issues. The team uses an extensive collection of internal and external resources and tools/methodologies in this process.

The Corporate Finance & Strategy Practice is one of BCG's functional practice areas. The CFS practice develops-and commercializes-fresh and practical perspectives on the critical strategic challenges confronting our clients: developing the right corporate strategy, managing assets, driving growth, fostering innovation, and achieving sustainability. We also seek to enhance the corporate strategy proficiency of both our clients and our client-service teams.



What You'll Bring

. Pursuing / completed bachelor's degree from a reputed university with demonstrated high academic achievement
. Understanding of BCG Strategy frameworks and approach will be an added advantage
. Able to demonstrate strong problem solving and analytical skills.
. Able to create and structure PowerPoint presentations and proficient in Excel
. Accuracy, attention to detail and adherence to committed timelines
. Strong work ethic, service-mentality, and a collaborative / team-player mindset
. Effective written & verbal communication.
. Strong organization and prioritization skills, and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

The Knowledge Team (KT) is a group of functional and/or industry experts leveraging deep domain knowledge to enable insight for case teams and clients. KT members are affiliated to BCG Practice Areas, plugged into the strategic agenda and building and deploying leading edge IP data tools/assets to deliver insight.

BCG's Knowledge Team members are staffed on cases and help co-create insights with case teams and clients through expert perspectives on industry trends, delivery of proprietary data or tools in a particular function and complex research and analysis of market information. KT members also support the PA's business development and proposals and help to organize and codify the knowledge that enables BCG to deliver superior business value for its clients.

YOU'RE GOOD AT
. Strong analytical acumen, proficiency in excel, comfortable working with and handling of unstructured data
. Providing customized data and research leveraging multiple sources
. Gathering, synthesizing, and running basic analysis on data
. Ensuring data exhaustiveness
. Preparing accurate, well developed documents and charts
. Communicating and proactive in sharing of task/work updates
