About The Role
We are seeking highly motivated interns with a strong foundation in applied mathematics and numerical modeling to support our R&D activities. The role involves developing and validating mathematical models for electro-mechanical systems.
This is an excellent opportunity to apply mathematical theory to real-world engineering problems and gain hands-on experience in modeling, analysis, and optimization within an industrial R&D environment.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
Education: B.Sc / M.Sc in Applied Mathematics
Responsibilities
- Develop analytical and numerical models for mechanical and electrical systems.
- Formulate mathematical relationships for engineering systems
- Perform simulations and data analysis using MATLAB
- Work closely with R&D engineers to validate theoretical results through experimental data.
- Optimize parameters and derive equations for performance prediction and algorithms.
- Document derivations, assumptions, and results in technical reports or presentations.
Core Competencies
- Strong understanding of linear algebra, calculus, differential equations, and numerical methods.
- Familiarity with optimization techniques and data fitting.
- Proficiency in MATLAB or Python for mathematical computation.
Additional Preferences
- Knowledge on Python (NumPy, SciPy, SymPy, Matplotlib)
- Exposure to control theory
