Interior Sales Representative identifies, pitches, and closes deals for interior design products (furniture, modular kitchens, decor) or services to residential and commercial clients. Responsibilities include on-site client meetings, preparing proposals, managing relationships with architects, and ensuring sales targets are met. Key skills include, but are not limited to, a strong understanding of interior design principles, negotiation, and proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp).
Key ResponsibilitiesClient Engagement & Sales: Proactively identify, prospect, and engage potential clients to understand their design requirements and lifestyle needs.Proposals & Presentations: Present, demonstrate, and propose design solutions, including creating mood boards and layouts, and delivering detailed cost quotations.Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, architects, and contractors to secure repeat business.Project Coordination: Collaborate with internal design and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution, from design to completion.Target Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets by managing the sales pipeline and closing deals.Market Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and competitor activities to effectively position products. Qualifications and SkillsExperience: Proven experience (often 2+ years) in interior design sales, furniture, or home improvement.Knowledge: Strong understanding of interior design trends, materials, and space planning.Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.Technical Proficiency: Ability to use CRM software and basic design tools like AutoCAD or SketchUp.Education: Degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, or Interior Design.
