Interior Project Manager Job Description
Job Summary
The Interior Project Manager will plan, coordinate, and manage interior fit-out projects from start to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and as per design specifications and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
- Plan project schedules, timelines, and milestones
- Coordinate with designers, architects, and internal teams
- Ensure smooth execution of interior projects
Site Visits & Site Supervisor Management
- Conduct regular visits to all project sites to monitor progress and quality
- Manage and coordinate site supervisors across multiple projects
- Ensure site supervisors follow approved drawings, timelines, and safety standards
- Review daily site reports and progress updates from supervisors
- Provide guidance and resolve site issues quickly
Manager responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of interior projects division
Manage multiple projects simultaneously
Approve purchases and expenses
Ensure company standards are followed
Guide staff, monitor performance, conduct meetings, maintain discipline.
Site Supervision
- Monitor carpentry, electrical, painting, and finishing work
- Ensure work is executed as per design drawings and specifications
- Maintain project quality standards
- Handle client complaints, revisions, and approvals
Vendor & Contractor Management
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials
- Manage installation schedules
- Identify and finalize vendors and subcontractors
- Negotiate rates and contracts
- Approve bills and work completion reports
Client Coordination
- Understand client requirements and project expectations
- Provide regular project updates
- Handle design changes and approvals
Budget & Cost Control
- Track project budgets and expenses
- Verify contractor bills and invoices
- Ensure projects stay within approved budgets
Required Skills
