Renechip Technology Services is looking for skilled and experienced Mechanical Interiors Engineers to join our engineering team in Bengaluru.

Key Responsibilities & Skills

Candidates should have strong experience in:

• Sheet metal component design, material & thickness selection

• Knowledge of materials and mechanical characteristics

• Weight assessment of assemblies, aggregates and installations

• Analysis of manufacturing non-conformities and validation of backup solutions

• Integration of manufacturing requirements into design

• Dimensional stack-up analysis

• Fastener selection and joint design

• Selection of suitable designs based on assembly criticality

• Engineering drawings, drawing standards and GD&T

• Working knowledge of ASME, DIN, EN and ISO standards

• Hands-on experience with CATIA V5 for 3D/2D design

• Experience with 3DEXPERIENCE / ENOVIA PLM platform

• Mounting definition for subsystems considering boundary conditions and potential failure modes

• Basic calculations for screwed/bolted assemblies

• Knowledge of Sheet Metal and FRP will be an added advantage

Candidate Profile

3–8 years of relevant mechanical design experience

Strong hands-on experience in CATIA V5

Good understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes

Strong knowledge of engineering drawings and GD&T

Ability to work independently and collaboratively with engineering teams

Good analytical and problem-solving skills
