Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Chennai for an Interior Designer at Tookoo Designs. The Interior Designer will be responsible for space planning, selecting furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E), preparing construction drawings, and working collaboratively on interior design projects. The role includes working closely with clients to understand their needs and designing functional, innovative, and visually pleasing spaces that align with their vision.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Interior Design and Space Planning
- Experience with Architecture and Construction Drawings
- Knowledge of FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) specification and selection
- Strong visualization and creative problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
- Prior experience in residential or commercial interior design is a plus
