Interior Designer

Role Description The Interior Designer will be responsible for developing design concepts, space plans, and detailed layouts for residential and commercial projects. Day-to-day tasks include meeting with clients to understand their requirements, preparing mood boards and material palettes, coordinating FF&E selections, and producing construction drawings in collaboration with architects and contractors. The role involves site visits, supervision of installation and fit-outs, and ensuring that designs align with budget, timelines, and sustainability standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Jodhpur, requiring close coordination with the design team and vendors throughout each project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills, with the ability to translate client needs into practical, innovative layouts.
• Knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings, including the ability to collaborate effectively with architects and contractors.
• Experience with FF&E selection and specification, including finishes, furnishings, lighting, and accessories.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar), and basic familiarity with 3D visualization tools.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to present concepts clearly and incorporate feedback constructively.
• Strong project coordination and time management abilities, with attention to detail and quality execution on site.
• Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; prior experience in residential or commercial interiors is preferred.
• Interest in sustainable and green design practices, and willingness to stay updated on materials and industry trends.
