Interior Designer (Technical Detailing)

An interior design practice in Udaipur, is hiring a Technical Interior Designer to support technical documentation, detailing, and project coordination for residential and hospitality interior projects. The role involves developing execution drawings, joinery details, material documentation, and 3D outputs to support project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop layout plans, furniture layouts, zoning plans, and technical drawings

• Prepare working drawings, GFC drawings, schedules, and execution documentation

• Develop detailed joinery, furniture, paneling, moulding, and architectural details

• Coordinate electrical, lighting, HVAC, plumbing, and related drawing requirements

• Prepare finish schedules, material specifications, and project documentation

• Develop 3D models and project visualizations

• Create detailed 3D representations of furniture and custom interior elements

• Coordinate drawings with consultants, vendors, and site teams

• Review and update project documentation during execution stages

• Support project coordination and drawing revisions during project execution

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field

• 2-4 years of experience in technical interior design, execution drawings, or interior documentation

• Knowledge of materials, joinery, construction methods, and detailing

• Understanding of furniture detailing, ergonomics, and interior construction processes

• Understanding of MEP coordination requirements

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D modeling software such as SketchUp, Rhino, 3ds Max, Blender, or similar tools

• Familiarity with rendering software and Adobe Creative Suite

• Good communication and coordination skills

• Ability to manage technical documentation and detailing requirements

Work Schedule:              

• Location: Udaipur, Rajasthan
• Working Days: Monday to Saturday (10:30 am to 6:00 pm); Alternate Saturdays are off
