*Position:* Interior Designer – Residential Interiors

*Experience:* 2–5 Years (Residential Interiors)

### Key Responsibilities

* Meet clients to understand their lifestyle, functional requirements, budget, and design preferences.

* Conduct site measurements and prepare detailed design briefs.

* Develop creative and functional interior design concepts for residential projects.

* Prepare 2D layouts, 3D visualizations, and detailed production drawings.

* Design modular kitchens, wardrobes, TV units, crockery units, vanities, and customized furniture.

* Visualize complete interior spaces with the right combination of colours, materials, textures, lighting, and finishes.

* Guide clients in selecting laminates, veneers, acrylics, PU finishes, quartz countertops, hardware, handles, lighting, wallpapers, furnishings, and accessories.

* Finalize colour palettes, material combinations, and finish selections with clients.

* Prepare BOQs and coordinate with the estimation team.

* Ensure designs are practical, aesthetically appealing, and suitable for factory manufacturing.

* Coordinate closely with production and project execution teams to ensure accurate implementation of approved designs.

* Attend client meetings and present design concepts professionally.

* Visit project sites whenever required to resolve design-related issues.

* Ensure the final execution matches the approved design.

* Maintain project documentation, drawings, material specifications, and design records.

### Required Skills

* Excellent space planning and visualization skills.

* Strong creative and aesthetic sense.

* Expertise in colour coordination, material selection, textures, and finish combinations.

* Ability to design modern, contemporary, luxury, and functional residential interiors.

* Strong knowledge of modular kitchens, wardrobes, and customized furniture.

* Good understanding of plywood, HDHMR, laminates, veneers, acrylic finishes, PU finishes, quartz, hardware, lighting, wallpapers, and interior accessories.

* Ability to recommend suitable materials and finishes based on customer requirements and budget.

* Excellent presentation and client communication skills.

* Strong problem-solving and coordination abilities.

* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

* High attention to detail and design accuracy.

* SketchUp

* Coohom (Preferred)

* Cabinet Vision (Preferred)

* Microsoft Excel

* Microsoft PowerPoint

### Preferred Candidate Profile

* 2–5 years of experience in residential interior design.

* Experience in modular kitchens, wardrobes, and complete home interiors.

* Strong design visualization and presentation skills.

* Good understanding of manufacturing and execution processes.

* Excellent client-handling and communication skills.

* Passion for creating premium residential interiors.
