Interior Designer

SR Design Aesthetic is a renowned interior design firm based in Kolkata. We are looking for a creative interior designer to work on both luxury residential and commercial projects.

The successful candidate will have previous experience delivering high-end interior projects, from building concepts to project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

· Take client briefing, understand client needs and preferences, and deliver design-led concept

· Work closely with the design team to conceptualize, plan, and build the design presentations within the given deadline

· Must be an expert in AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp (optional), and PowerPoint presentation to create floor plans, elevations, sections, mood boards, concept boards, renderings, and design panels.

· It will be a plus if the candidate knows InDesign

· Confidently work across all phases of the design process, from producing detailed specifications, schedules, technical drawings, FF&E, and presentations that accurately communicate design intent and project requirements

· Provide creative and technical guidance to designers and support staff

· Attend site visits, meetings, and presentations to communicate design concepts and resolve design-related issues

· Manage multiple projects simultaneously

· Continuously research and stay updated on new design trends, technologies, and materials

· Participate in business development activities, such as proposal writing, presentations, and networking events

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree/Diploma (at least 2 years) in interior design

· At least 1 year of experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio

· Excellent visualization and presentation skills

· Strong technical knowledge of construction, materials, and finishes

· Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Must have the eagerness to learn something new and build new concepts

· Should work from the studio.
