JD for INTERIOR DESIGNER
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Interior Designer with strong sales acumen to join our Sales & Design team. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for consulting with clients, creating compelling design solutions, and driving sales by delivering outstanding customer experiences. You'll act as both a designer and a sales consultant, helping clients transform their spaces while meeting sales goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales:
- Engage with potential clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget.
- Conduct showroom consultations, site visits, or virtual meetings to pitch design concepts.
- Develop and present customized design proposals and quotations.
- Drive revenue by closing sales and upselling products and services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Design:
- Create space plans, mood boards, and 2D/3D visualizations based on client needs.
- Select materials, finishes, furniture, and accessories that align with design goals and brand standards.
- Prepare and revise design presentations, including CAD drawings and layout plans.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure design integrity and execution.
- Stay current with industry trends, products, and technology.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in interior design, Architecture, or related field.
- Proven experience in interior design with a focus on residential or commercial spaces.
- 2+ years of sales experience, ideally in a design-related or high-end retail environment.
- Proficiency in design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Customer-focused with a passion for design and sales.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in a showroom or retail environment.
- Knowledge of furniture, fabrics, lighting, and finishes.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools.
