Job Title: Interior Designer / Sales Specialist
Job Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and creative Interior Designer / Sales Specialist, with about 3-5 years of experience, who can combine design expertise with strong client-handling and sales skills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for engaging with prospective clients, understanding their requirements, proposing design solutions, preparing quotations, and successfully closing projects. Post-sale, the candidate will also be responsible for developing final designs and coordinating with the execution team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet and interact with potential clients to understand their design needs, preferences, and budget.
- Provide creative and practical design suggestions aligned with client requirements.
- Prepare detailed project quotations based on client discussions and design scope.
- Present and explain quotations to clients, handle negotiations, and close sales.
- Maintain strong follow-up with leads to convert them into confirmed projects.
- Once a project is finalized, conduct site measurements (or coordinate for production measurements).
- Develop final 2D layouts and 3D designs based on approved concepts and accurate measurements.
- Ensure designs are production-ready and aligned with client expectations.
- Handover finalized designs and project details to the execution team.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth project transition and execution.
- Maintain proper documentation of client interactions, designs, and project status.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design or related field.
- Proven experience in interior design, sales, or a similar client-facing role.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar tools.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to understand client needs and translate them into functional designs.
- Good understanding of materials, finishes, and furniture design.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Sales-driven mindset with a focus on closing deals.
Preferred Qualities:
- Experience in residential and/or commercial interior projects.
- Ability to handle multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
- Customer-focused approach with attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and target-oriented.

- Lead-to-conversion ratio

Remuneration Details:
- Fixed salary between Rs.45,000 to Rs.55,000 depending on experience and last drawn salary
- Incentive of Rs.5,000 to Rs.10,000 per project closed, depending on the size of the project
