Role Description This is an on-site internship role for an Interior Designer based in Chennai. The Interior Designer intern will assist in conceptualizing and developing interior design solutions for residential, commercial, or mixed-use spaces. Day-to-day tasks include supporting space planning, preparing mood boards, assisting with FF&E selections, and contributing to construction drawings and design documentation. The intern will collaborate with senior designers and architects, participate in site visits, and help coordinate with vendors and contractors. This role offers hands-on experience in the full design process, from initial concepts to implementation.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Interior Design and Space Planning.
• Candidates should possess skills in Architecture and understanding of design principles.
• Candidates should possess skills in preparing Construction Drawings and technical documentation.
• Candidates should possess skills in FF&E selection, including finishes, fixtures, and equipment.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) is beneficial.
• Strong visual communication skills, including basic rendering and presentation abilities.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively in an on-site studio environment.
