Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated individual to join our dynamic Product R&D team. The Junior Interior & Furniture Designer will assist in the design and development of interior spaces and custom furniture pieces. This role requires a creative individual with a keen eye for detail, a passion for design, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the conceptualization and development of interior design projects by R&D team.

Create plans & detailed design drawings with mood boards, sample boards, and other visual presentations for the projects.

Develop furniture design concepts and create technical drawings for custom pieces.

Collaborate with senior designers to select materials, finishes, and furnishings.

Participate in site visits and assess project spaces.

Source and procure materials, furnishings, and accessories for projects.

Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure project specifications are met.

Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and design innovations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Furniture Design, or a related field.

2-3 years of experience in interior design or furniture design, including internships.

Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.; peripheral knowledge of graphic design software.

Understanding of design principles.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.

Creative problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude.
